A couple new community things to add. First off, I’m trying out Dropbox, which is a website/application that allows you to automatically back up a folder on your computer to the dropbox website, which is then accessable anywhere you can log onto their website. Also, you can share the folder with other people if you want, which makes it excelent for sharing resources. So I’m looking for some talent to be involved in a shoot for my zombie movie trailer. We’re looking for actors this weekend and next weekend (mostly next weekend) who are willing to be/kill zombies. Things I want to change:
Constantly think about my priorities, don’t let myself start to focus on the loudest thing in front of me.
Stop making penis jokes.
Pay attention when I drive, drive responsibly. I’ve usually got the most important thing in the world to me in the car, and even if I don’t I at least have the most important thing in the world to her there. And eventually, I might have a kid to keep safe and be a role model for.
Express myself in as many ways as possible, as often as possible.
Make boundaries, and actually stick to them. I can’t be wishy-washy anymore, it dilutes everything I do.
Embrace the chance to do both big and small things, not just one or the other.
Stop explaining things just for the sake of explaining them, or to hear myself talk. Say exactly what is most helpful for the situation, and only continue if people are wanting to hear more.
Don’t dwell on or blow off my mistakes. Just figure out what I did wrong, and fix it the first time.
Use moderation and balance in all things.
Don’t make snap decisions so often. this means to have both more and less patience… any action should come because it’s the wisest thing to do at that point, so be patient if it isn’t the right time. Also, be proactive and don’t let things sit until they force my hand. If something is a problem, deal with it when it comes up, not when I can’t take it anymore. Just don’t take in the first place if you don’t have to.
And finally, as a reminder, don’t take this list too seriously. It’s all true, and it’s good I’m aspiring to it, but don’t think of life as a project. I think that’s the hardest thing in the world for me. I want to be all those things, but I want it to come about from an internal desire, not because I’m enforcing a list. I don’t want to be a robot. I want to genuinely be a caring husband, talented artist, physically and emotionally strong, etc.

The very first one, that icky periwinkle, was like 0.1. Anyway, this is the new Elrosth.com. All of the old stuff is currently backed up, and some of it will make it’s way back here. The main purpose of the site is now to serve as a directory of everything I’m involved in, such as the comic, my portfolio, the wiki, facebook/myspace/twitter, mail and chat clients, deviantart/flickr/youtube/vimeo, etc. It’ll take a little bit for me to get the stuff in here, since I’m in finals right now, but it’ll get done.
